Adults of any age who long to become artists (in any form), but feel afraid or psychologically blocked from doing so. This is also for established artists who shy away from taking deeper risks in their artistic practices, and who need encouragement to do so.
Discover that you are not alone with your doubts! Learn ways to shift your mindset to grapple with doubt--and keep creating. You will leave feeling supported, encouraged, and inspired. You'll also take away new tools and fresh perspective on your artistic practice and goals.
Probing questions to jump-start insights into your creative process, personal reflections, group brainstorming, space to write--and draw! Draft your creative mission statement. Examine your allies and adversaries. And leave this work(play)shop feeling energized and better understanding your own creativity!
Artists often feel alone and unappreciated. Here, you'll join fellow artists in a safe space where we share concerns, challenges, and aspirations--and leave feeling inspired!
I run this in person for organizations, nonprofits, and artist groups by request. Standard fee is $25 per head. In some cases, I waive the fee. Minimum participants: 8. There is no maximum.
